Tashlin; una guida alla vita e l'opere di Frank Tashlin (compiled by Howard Prouty)  [Yes, that's me.]

Don't bother looking for this one at your corner bookstore, on Amazon.com, or anyplace else -- it's the one-and-only, absolutely unique compilation of my own research, conducted in conjunction with the 1994 Locarno Film Festival retrospective of Tashlin's work.  A considerably edited/truncated version of the extensive documentation I compiled was incorporated into the Locarno book (ed. by Roger Garcia), but I put this one together for my own reference and amusement.  (Despite the title, it's all in English: the format is a takeoff on the "Guide Michelin," and you get big points if you recognize the little figure at the top of the cover.)  Someday, if I'm ever so insane as to want to do such a thing, it might also serve as the taking-off point for my own book about Tashlin.
